Today we will be learning about characterization.
1. You will begin by self-evaluating your "plot" essay using a teacher-provided checklist for writing about literature. Then, hand in your "plot" essay.
2. We will review and discuss the elements of characterization. Notes can be accessed on "Student Common."
3. Your assignment: Write a character sketch on TJ using your notes.
Criteria: All parts of the elements must be underlined. You must include THREE direct quotes some place in your essay. Document these quotes using the page number, column, and paragraph. Your rough draft is due next time we meet.
